Plus there are a bunch of babies being born at church...so lots of baby blankets are in my future. But I don't mind. :)

Then last night I made some props for The Little Red Hen---a red oven mitt, bread pan, and loaf of bread. They are made from craft felt and are easy to make. You can find the pattern from buggabugs.etsy.com.

Most of the plants in my little garden are doing very well. The cilantro, lavender, and peppermint are starting to get out of control already!

Black Swallowtail Butterfly

After I planted the garden, I saw a beautiful, huge, black swallowtail. It climbed onto my hand and I put it in the new garden. You can see the other pictures at http://www.flickr.com/photos/12211320@N04/sets/72157623779102772/

Carseat Blanket

A few years ago, I made a carseat blanket for a friend. I've had a few requests for the pattern, so I dug around and found what wrote down. Hope you enjoy!

Ravelympics

I haven't been making a granny square each day, but I AM participating in the Ravelympics. My events are Designer Biathlon and Short Track Shawls. I started on the designing bit first, and here are the fruits of my labor. So far.
